Ricebran Oil (Physicaaly Refined )

Physically Refined means the oil is purified with an alkali or treated with acid or bleached. 

All these processes warrant the use of chemicals like Hexane. 

On the other hand, physically refined oils are subject to degumming wherein FFA is removed during the process of deodorization by steam as opposed to chemicals.

It is advisable to avoid refined oils, since during the refining process, oils are heated to high temperatures resulting in their degradation and generation of toxic substances.
